Conditions of Booking
Check in time is 2pm and checkout time is 11am.
- By sending the Request for Booking form you indicate that you have read and accept these Conditions of Booking.
- A $100 non-refundable deposit is required on booking by credit card (MasterCard or Visa, sorry no Amex).
- Final payment is due 14 days before the date of your stay. If final payment is not made by credit card an additional $500 bond will need to be included in your cheque payment/ direct deposit/ debit card payment and will be refunded to you after your stay by direct deposit. In the unlikely event that damage is caused to the property we reserve the right to use the bond or charge the credit card on file to a maximum limit if $500.
- Details re key collection, directions, etc will be sent with the final payment receipt.
- Final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card two days after the due date and final details posted. Please advise us by the due date if you wish to make alternative final payment arrangements as above.
- Inspections can be arranged with prior notice providing the house is unoccupied.
- Where full payment has been made and the booking is cancelled with 7 days of your stay, there will be no refund. If cancelled between 7 and 14 days of your stay, the charge will be 50% of the full amount or $100, whichever is greater.
- For stays of longer than 4 weeks, prices are on application and services (electricity and water) are not included.
- Please note that the cottage is a non-smoking area.
- Pets are not permitted on the property.
- Lost property will be collected on your behalf free of cost and will be returned to you on payment of any postage costs involved. Your property will be kept for a maximum of one month before being given to charity.
- If you leave the property unlocked and items are stolen, vandalised or otherwise damaged, you agree to compensate us for the missing items and/or damage.

This cottage is privately owned. We ask that you please take care of the cottage as you would your own home. Please ensure that the property is left neat and tidy and all dishes are washed and put away. Please dispose of all rubbish thoughtfully (particularly foodstuffs). If you have children, we ask that you ensure their supervision to protect both themselves and the cottage and its furnishings.
Should we find that the property required additional cleaning time, including unwashed dishes, etc, a cleaning fee of $50 will be charged to the credit card held on file.
