Southern Highland Wines is an award winning cool climate winery located only minutes from the cottage. One of the recent awards won by the winery was the best sauvignon blanc in the world at the Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Competition (Oldbury Reserve Sauvignon Blanc 2010).
Wine tastings are a sublime experience at Southern Highland Wines. Wine varieties available at the winery include merlot, pinot grigio, pinot noir, reisling, shiraz, cabernet sauvignon, sparkling chardonnay pinot noir, chardonnay, botrytis semillon, moscato, shiraz cabernet, rose sauvignon blanc, shiraz sangiovese, semillon sauvignon blanc and cabernet merlot. Many of these vintages have won multiple awards.
When your group has four or more people, a tour of the winery can also be booked for an interesting insight into the making of these fabulous wines.
